Additional Infomation About Product

The BT136X-600E is a thyristor surge protection components manufactured by NXP. It is a Low-voltage AC or DC power switching thyristor with high surge capability. BT136X-600E is a thyristor with built-in arc suppression diodes (ASDs). The device switches to the on state when the positive gate signal is applied.This unit is typically used in AC mains (AC) switching, rectifying and power factor correction applications. BT136X-600E makes the reversibility of power circuits possible. This thyristor is a 4-pin device, with gate, cathode, main terminal and anode pins. It has a rated gate current of 4mA max and a gate turn-off voltage of 5V. The breakdown voltage of BT136X-600E is 600V. The junction temperature of the device is 150°C maximum and the rated power dissipation is 3500 VAK. The device has a surge current capability of 4500A (8/20 µs waveform).
