The BT137X-600F is an NXP series Thyristor/Diode TRIAC device that combines a fast triac with a diode into a single package. It is specifically designed for mains frequency AC switching applications. The device is rated for 600V, 6A and is ideal for controlling devices such as dimmers, motor speed controllers, static relays and solid-state relays. It has a reliable sensitive gate trigger and features a UL recognized glass passivated junction technology. It is available as a ROHS compliant package with extended copper tabs for improved heat dissipation.
