This PMIC solution is designed to provide power failover, voltage regulation, and sequencing for a wide range of power management applications. It is a comprehensive feature set which includes an onboard 46-buck DC/DC converter, 6 low-dropout (LDO) regulators, and a single boost converter all in a single 56-pin Quad Flat No Lead (QFN) package. The buck converter is equipped with a standalone PWM controller and allows adjustable output voltage up to 10V, while the LDO regulators support adjustable output voltages up to 5.5V. The boost converter supports an output voltage up to 12V with up to 2A of max output current and is protected against overvoltage and overcurrent faults. This PMIC solution is ideal for providing regulated power to microcontrollers, FPGAs, and communication circuits.
