The FDS8949 is an high-voltage N-channel switch made by ON Semiconductor. This switch is designed to control currents up to 10 A at voltages as high as 400 V. Its RDS(ON) resistance is as low as 0.55 ? which improves efficiency and reduces switching losses. The FDS8949 features a wide range of protection features, such as thermal shutdown, short-circuit protection, and over-current and voltage protection, making it suitable for applications such as motor drives, lighting, and power supplies.
