The LV8968BBUWR2G Multi-Purpose BLDC Gate-Driver manufactured by ON Semiconductor is a 48-pin SPQFP surface mount component with an operating voltage of 8V to 28V. It is designed specifically for brushless DC motor solutions and includes coverage for three-phase width modulation (PWM), trapezoidal-controlled (six-step) systems, and two-phase Hall sensors with open collector outputs. Additionally, it includes under-voltage protection, over-voltage protection, reversed battery protection, and overcurrent protection support. The integrated thermal protection offers excellent thermal robustness, and a low-current standby mode enables optimized power dissipation.
