A4988 The Pololu A4988 stepper motor driver is a complete micro-stepping motor driver with built-in translator for easy operation. It is a complete solution for applications using bipolar stepper motors up to a max of 2A/phase. This stepper motor is a Uni/Bi Polar 57×76mm stepper motor capable of running a max of 2A/phase (4A/phase max). The A4988 is a great choice for driving a wide range of Nema 17, Nema 23, and Nema 34 stepper motors. The A4988 is capable of full-step, half-step, and micro-stepping at up to 1/16-step resolution. It also has its own anti-resonance compensation and built-in translator so it will work with any stepper motor. The A4988 has a wide voltage range of 7V-30V and can provide up to 2A/phase. This stepper motor is an ideal choice for applications that need high torque, efficiency, and accuracy.
