RT9198-28GY is a 28-pin IC produced by Richtek that is part of their Green Power System. It is a Primary-Side Regulation (PSR) secondary-side Flyback Step-Down (FSD) Switch-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) Controller. This IC supports a wide voltage range of 4V to 24V, making it ideal for powering low-voltage systems, such as portable electronics or USB ports. It has a low external component count and low stand-by current making it a good choice for applications that require low power consumption. It also features an adjustable frequency oscillator, voltage feedback loop, and protection against over-voltage, over-temperature, and current-limit.
