Additional Infomation About Product

The A13840 Plastic Anchor manufactured by ROMIX is a universal fastening anchor designed for use in perforated or solid walls. The anchor consists of a steel pin and a body made of self-extinguishing Nylon PA 6. It is supplied in yellow and can be used with fastening screws and bolts up to 8 mm diameter. The pin has a lip that strengthens the grip of the anchor on the drill hole and prevents the anchor from coming off when the screw is removed or loosened. The body has a wide flange at the bottom that spreads the holding power over a larger base and helps prevent the anchor from coming off when the screw is subjected to vibration or loosened with a torque wrench. The A13840 is suitable for fastening a variety of items in applications such as tiling, electrical fittings, shelf supports, security systems, and garment racks.
