1. The 7473 is a popular TTL-series digital logic dual J-K flip-flop IC. It can be used for storing two bits of data. 2. It is an edge-triggered device with independent data and clock inputs. When the clock input is at a 1, the J and K inputs determine the state of the outputs. 3. The 7473 is scaled to operate across a wide range of voltage, from 2.0V to 5.5V. 4. The power consumption of 7473 is typically 3 mA and the propagation delay of its outputs is 10.5 ns. 5. It has 150 ns power-on reset time and is supplied in a 16-pin plastic dual-in-line package. 6. It implements non-inverting J-K flip-flop with a direct clear feature. 7. This circuit component can be used to control electronic systems such as low frequency oscillators, digital dividers, dividers and counters, frequency dividers, and other simple digital devices.
