The SKET 400/16E is part of the SKiiP Power semi-conductor family from Semikron, which is designed to provide a compact and reliable power solution for a wide range of industrial applications. It is a single-in-line packaged thyristor module, consisting of a 400A thyristor and a 16E diode in parallel. The module is designed for the controlling of mains voltage and current, making it suitable for certain motor drives, power supplies and welding applications. The module supports a maximum operating temperature of 150 °C, with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +150 °C. It features an insulation voltage of 5000Vrms, an average on-state current of 400A, a current amplification ratio of 5.8A/V, and a diode (16E) reverse recovery current of 7A.
