The SKKT 106B18 E with Module is a diode-controlled thyristor (thyristor-diode) with 1.8kV blocking voltage, 106A continuous current rating, type A48 construction, and packaged in a desirable SEMIPACK1 screw-type housing manufactured by Semikron. The thyristor/thyristor is a three-terminal semi-conductor device which acts as a switch for controlling the flow of electricity. This device provides dynamic control of electrical loads in many applications, such as standing pilot control circuits, AC systems, and DC drives.
