SKKT 106B18 E Semikron

The SKKT 106B18 E with Module is a diode-controlled thyristor (thyristor-diode) with 1.8kV blocking voltage, 106A continuous current rating, type A48 construction, and packaged in a desirable SEMIPACK1 screw-type housing manufactured by Semikron. The thyristor/thyristor is a three-terminal semi-conductor device which acts as a switch for controlling the flow of electricity. This device provides dynamic control of electrical loads in many applications, such as standing pilot control circuits, AC systems, and DC drives. The SEMIPACK1 package has a higher switching frequency when compared to the other standard packages, thus making it a great choice for high current designs. Furthermore, the SEMIPACK1 package is available in a range of standard materials, including mixed dielectrics and thermally insulating materials.
