The BTA06-600SWRG is a 600V, 6 amp, TO-220AB packaged Triac from STMicroelectronics. It is a silicon bidirectional thyristor with three terminals; gate, anode, and cathode. It is designed for AC switching, lighting and motor control applications. The BTA06-600SWRG is a fast-switching thyristor with a low triggering current, electrical noise immunity and enables AC loads control over a wide current range. It also integrates protection features for over-temperature, over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit conditions. It is RoHS compliant and UL recognized.
