The L6599ATDTR is a Power Management Specialized IMPROVED High-Volt RESONANT CONTROLLER manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is a current-mode, fixed-frequency, resonant controller integrated with a high-voltage start-up circuit, high-current totem pole gate driver, slope compensation circuit, and a low-voltage detection circuit. It is specifically designed to drive power supplies in applications requiring an isolated design such as telecom, industrial, and medical systems. The controller is capable of providing +/-5A output current with a power efficiency of up to 97%. It features a fast start-up operation, and can be configured with a variety of protection features, such as over-voltage-protection, over-current-protection, over-temperature-protection, and Brownout-protection.
