The L78S18CV Voltage Regulator with linear, fixed output from STMicroelectronics is a TO220AB through hole, transistors (THT) mountable component designed for a wide variety of automotive, consumer and industrial applications. It provides a regulated output voltage of 18V with a maximum output current of 2A and a pin pitch ranging from 0.51mm to 0.6mm. This device features an internal circuit with multiple protection capabilities including Over-Current, Over-Temperature and Short-Circuit protection as well as thermal shutdown and input under-voltage lockout. It also features a low power consumption and fast transient response for accurate voltage regulation.
