The L79L08ACZ-AP is a low dropout voltage regulator (LDO) manufactured by STMicroelectronics. This device provides a steady output voltage of 8V and a maximum output current of 150mA. This low-power regulator includes a thermal shutdown feature and overload protection to protect against damage from current or voltage overloads. The device is housed in a lead-less SOT-89 (SMD) package, making it easy to mount in a variety of applications.
