The L79L15ACD13TR is a low-voltage, low-dropout voltage regulator by STMicroelectronics. It features a wide input voltage range of 5.35V to 18V and an output voltage of 1.5V, with a maximum dropout voltage of 1.25V at 1A of output current. It offers a very high power output at 1.5A and a thermal shutdown feature that prevents damage in the event of an overload. The device is available in a lead-free, small and thin SOT-223 package.
