The STH170N8F7-2 is a power MOSFET developed by STMicroelectronics. The device is rated for a maximum drain-source voltage of 400 V and a maximum current rating of 170 A. It is designed to be used in automotive applications, such as motor control systems, battery-powered vehicle systems, and other power converters. The MOSFET has an ultra-low on-resistance of 7.2 mO and is capable of handling up to 15V gate-source voltage. It also has low gate charge and Miller charge for low switching losses, as well as an integrated protection circuit for ESD protection. The device is available in an easy to assemble and cost-effective two-pin TO-220FP package.
