The STSPIN32G4 Motor/Motion/Ignition Controllers & Drivers 3-phase brushless motor controller is a secure and high-density MCU manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It combines the STM32G4 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4 MCU (with 524 Kbytes of Flash memory, up to 480 Kbytes of RAM, 100MHz clock, 64-bit HW floating point, and arm® CryptoCell-310 and TrustZone® security modified) and the SPIN32G4 3-PH Brushless motor controller to provide field experienced motor control solutions. The device is suitable for industrial applications, such as automated materials handling (AMH); off-highway vehicles; industrial blowers; pumps; ventilation systems; compressors; 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor control, and other industrial motor control applications. The STSPIN32G4 is a highly integrated IC that features high-speed PWM control, advanced current control features such as field oriented control (FOC), high-speed communication encryption and advanced analog integration. The device provides various inputs for both motor drives and motion detection, including Hall-effect sensor inputs, motor temperature and encoder/resolver inputs. The device also provides advanced safety features, such as user-definable error targets and current-limiting fallback behaviors.
