General Features V I R Type DSS n DS(on) VIPer100-E 620V 3 A 2.5 ADJUSTABLE SWITCHING FREQUENCY UP PENTAWATT HV PENTAWATT HV (022Y) TO 200 kHz CURRENT MODE CONTROL SOFT START AND SHUTDOWN CONTROL Description AUTOMATIC BURST MODE OPERATION IN VIPer100-E, made using VIPower M0 Technology, STAND-BY CONDITION ABLE TO MEET combines on the same silicon chip a state-of-the- BLUE ANGEL NORM (<1w TOTAL POWER art PWM circuit together with an optimized, high CONSUMPTION) voltage, Vertical Power MOSFET (620V/ 3A). INTERNALLY TRIMMED ZENER REFERENCE Typical applications cover offline power supplies with a secondary power capability of 50W in wide UNDERVOLTAGE LOCK-OUT WITH range condition and 100W in single range or with HYSTERESIS doubler configuration. It is compatible from both INTEGRATED START-UP SUPPLY primary or secondary regulation loop despite OVER-TEMPERATURE PROTECTION using around 50% less components when compared with a discrete solution. Burst mode LOW STAND-BY CURRENT operation is an additional feature of this device, ADJUSTABLE CURRENT LIMITATION offering the ability to operate in stand-by mode without extra components.
