The VIPER16LN with AC/DC Converters 60 kHz Fixed Freq Viper Plus manufactured by STMicroelectronics is a single-channel, 16-pin integrated voltage regulator with a maximum current rating of up to 1.4A (1.5A with 45°C), output voltage adjustable between 8V and 40V and a low on-resistance of 1.4mO. It is based on STMicroelectronics' latest VIPER Plus technology, which integrates a MOSFET, a current mode PWM controller and several protection functions into a single package. The switch-mode power supply has a high efficiency of up to 93% and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 145°C, making it suitable for automotive, telecom and industrial applications. Additionally, the device features a wide input voltage range and an internal EMI filter, making it a great choice for cost-sensitive and space-constrained designs.
