CMOS compatible input The VN820-E is intended for driving any type of On-state open-load detection load with one side connected to ground. The Off-state open-load detection active V pin voltage clamp protects the device CC against low energy spikes. Thermal shutdown protection and diagnosis Active current limitation combined with thermal Undervoltage shutdown shutdown and automatic restart protect the device Overvoltage clamp against overload. The device detects the open- Output stuck to V detection CC load condition in both on- and off-state mode. In the off-state the device detects if the output is Load current limitation shorted to V . The device automatically turns off CC Reverse battery protection where the ground pin becomes disconnected. Electrostatic discarge protection Table 1.
