All types of resistive, inductive and capacitive loads General Very low standby current Description 3.0 V CMOS compatible input Optimized electromagnetic emission The VND5T016ASP-E is a device made using STMicroelectronics VIPower technology, Very low electromagnetic susceptibility intended for driving resistive or inductive loads Compliance with European directive with one side connected to ground. Active V 2002/95/EC CC pin voltage clamp protects the device against low Fault reset standby pin (FR Stby) energy spikes. This device integrates an analog Diagnostic functions current sense which delivers a current Proportional load current sense proportional to the load current. Fault conditions such as overload, overtemperature or short to Current sense precision for wide range V are reported via the current sense pin. currents CC Off state open load detection Output current limitation protects the device in Output short to V detection overload condition. The device will latch off in CC case of overload or thermal shutdown. Overload and short to ground latch-off Thermal shutdown latch-off The device is reset by a low level pass on the fault Very low current sense leakage reset standby pin. Protections A permanent low level on the inputs and fault Undervoltage shutdown reset standby pin disables all outputs and sets the device in standby mode.
