The CD4518BE is a dual BCD-to-Decimal Counter integrated circuit from Texas Instruments. It is a complementary MOS membered of the 4518 series of CMOS logic counters. The CD4518BE has two BCD-to-Decimal counters with four "D" type flip-flops, along with basic decoding and control logic. The counters also have synchronous clocking and preset inputs, reset and "carry-out" outputs. It is a dual- Chip Complex, Dual Monolithic Package and can handle a supply voltage range of 4.5v to 15v. The CD4518BE is ideally suited for power efficient applications, high speed logic and provides improved noise immunity. It is also used in high-speed applications such as timers, frequency dividers and phase-locked-loops.
