The SN74AC08DR is a quad 2-input positive-AND gate from the Texas Instruments AC Logic family. It is a high-speed, low-power CMOS device that operates at voltages between 1.8 V and 6 V and features low quiescent current levels. The SN74AC08DR has a delay time of 8ns (typical) when operated at a supply voltage of 5.0 V. The device has open-drain outputs that can achieve either a logic high (Vin) or a logic low (GND) when enabled, and tri-state outputs that are disabled when either HIGH or LOW is applied. The circuitry is designed to accept slow-changing input signals and features Schmitt triggers on the input A and B signals, which allow for increased noise immunity and faster operation compared to non-Schmitt trigger devices. The SN74AC08DR is available in 8-pin SOIC and PDIP packages.
