The SN74HCT00D is a quad 2-input NAND gate from Texas Instruments’ HCT logic family. It feature low power TTL compatible inputs, on-chip protection against damage from latching up in excess of the normal supply voltage range and low-power outputs compatible with TTL, DTL, and MOS logic. It has a typical power dissipation of 400mW and comes in a 14-pin PDIP (Plastic Dual-In-Line Package) or a 14-pin SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) package. The SN74HCT00D operates from 2V to 6V and can handle up to 3.6mA of current draw per output. It is ideal for applications such as logic gates, multiplexer/demultiplexers and control logic circuits.
