The TPS53915RVER from Texas Instruments is a switching voltage regulator with a 1.5-18V input, 12A sync SD SWIFT Cnvtr. It is a high-performance synchronous step-down, DC/DC converter with a wide input voltage range and high current capabilities. It features a synchronous architecture with integrated high-side and low-side switches for improved efficiency, and a programmable output voltage range as low as 0.6V. It also features integrated soft-start and pre-biased start-up to minimize output over-shoot/undershoot during startup and shutdown as well as enable seamless tracking of application parameters. The device also includes programmable over-current and over-temperature protection as well as improved transient response for improved system performance.
