The TLP628(GB,F) is a bidirectional, single-channel, Optocoupler manufactured by Toshiba. It is a 4-pin, dual-in-line, plastic package (DIP) with leads conforming to JEDEC S-70. The device consists of an infrared emitting diode and a high-gain NPN photocoupler. It is designed for digital logic gate isolation, power supply, and signal line isolation. The TLP628(GB,F) is RoHS compliant, making it suitable for use in lead-free applications. The TLP628(GB,F) can block voltage up to 7.0 kVrms for one minute, and can be used in isolation voltage up to 5.0 kVrms. The device is also capable of supplying peak pulse current up to 4.0 mA, and has a typical rise/fall time of 8 µs.
