Additional Infomation About Product

The BK250-400-SZ with Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) Gas Plasma Arrestors Square 7.4mm PPTC is manufactured by Yageo. It is designed to protect sensitive electrical equipment from overvoltage by limiting current flow. It is composed of a gas-filled tube connected to two electrodes. When an overvoltage pulse is applied, the gas in the tube ionizes, becoming conductive and allowing a high current flow. The current is limited by the arrestor's design, protecting the device from damage. The BK250-400-SZ ionization tube is 7.4mm square in shape and is made of polypropylene, which is a highly durable material. This high performance GDT provides excellent overvoltage protection and is UL recognized and RoHS compliant.
