It is a diode with fast switching capabilities that is specially designed for protection against overvoltage, overload and transient voltage applications. The device is suitable for the protection of signal, power and data lines. The MUR820 features an ultra-low VF of 0.2V and can handle up to 10A pulse current, which makes it ideal for industrial, automotive and telecommunications applications. The device also features a high peak repetitive reverse voltage of 800V. The MUR820 can operate at temperatures of up to 150°C, making it suitable for high temperature applications.
