The Brainboxes IX-250 is an Industrial Ethernet remote IO (Input/Output) module designed to connect industrial machinery to an Ethernet network. It is a remotely programmable, distributed I/O module that enables users to integrate fully featured, remote I/O capability into their industrial networks. The IX-250 includes twelve (12) data acquisition channels, which can be configured for a variety of input types, including thermocouples, 4–20 mA, or voltage values. The IX-250 features a web-based management interface for easy set-up and configuration, and supports multiple communication protocols, including Modbus/TCP, Modbus/RTU, Ethernet/IP and Profinet.
