KMOC3022 Cosmo

The KMOC3022 with Triac Optocouplers DIP-6 RoHS is an integrated circuit that is used to optically isolate low voltage transistor (Triac) control signals from high voltage AC circuits. It is designed with a 6-pin dual in-line package (DIP) and in compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. The KMOC3022 is manufactured by Cosmo, a company specializing in integrated circuits for the automotive, industrial, consumer and communications markets. Electrical insulation between AC power and the low voltage logic is guaranteed up to 300 Volts RMS. The KMOC3022 features a high current transfer ratio and high isolation voltage of 5000 Volts RMS for both single-phase and three-phase applications. It also has a low power dissipation of 0.2W and low thermal resistance of 100°C/W, making it suitable for use in applications where space is limited and thermal dissipation is an issue. The optocoupler has a maximum operating temperature of 125°C and is suitable for both AC and DC switching.
