Additional Infomation About Product

The ISOCOM MOC3061XSM is an optically-isolated triac driver integrated circuit (IC) in an industry-standard 4-pin SOP (Small Outline Package) configuration. Designed for use in motor controls, high-voltage lamp control, power tools, and appliances, it provides an electrical insulation barrier between low-voltage control circuitry and a high-voltage AC load. It incorporates an optically-coupled MOC3061 Triac driver and integrated 0.6A snubberless inherently triac gate-controlled output. The MOC3061XSM features an over-temperature shutdown circuit that protects the TRIAC and optically-isolated section against damage in the event of an over-temperature condition. It is rated to operate over a wide temperature range of -20°C to +85°C.
