IXDI609YI is an optically isolated single channel digital input module manufactured by IXYS for use in industrial automation, security systems, and access control systems. It provides a reliable and safe connection between digital input signals, such as those from a PLC or Computer, and a power circuit. The IXDI609YI can be used to provide a conversion from a digital input signal at either 5V, 12V, 24V or 48VDC. It features a very fast on/off response of less than 1 millisecond and a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The module also features a CMOS compatible open collector driver output which supports both NPN and PNP transistor types with a max output voltage of 30V and a max current of 60mA. It is suitable for controlling a wide range of loads such as relays, solenoids and other AC/DC controlled devices.
