The SMBJ36A is an ESD Suppressors / TVS Diodes 600W 36V 5% Uni-Directional manufactured by Littelfuse. It is a low-profile, unidirectional dual-element device designed to provide high-surge capability and maximum reliability. It is designed for applications that require compliance with the European Union’s ESD standard EN61000 / EN61011 for protection against electrostatic discharge. The device has a low capacitance to ensure signal integrity, and a built-in multilayer low-inductance construction for maximum surge current handling capability of 600 watts. Its reliable thermally enhanced epoxy package provides maximum circuit board space and superior board mounting capabilities. The device is lead(Pb)-free and RoHS-compliant, and can operate in a temperature range of -55 °C to 150°C. This part should be considered in any application where electrostatic discharge is a concern.
