The LP6304BQVF with PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) is a 4x4 QFN-24 (Quad Flat No-Lead) RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant device that offers enhanced battery management capabilities for mobile and consumer applications. It contains two battery charger and continuous power feature (CPS) controllers. The LP6304BQVF is a combination of a current-controlled 4-stage linear charger, a voltage-controlled 3-stage linear charger, a low-power battery powered load cell with jumper selection between two factory-programmed current levels, and a thermal control shutdown circuit all integrated into the same device. The primary intended use of the LP6304BQVF is to provide charging and thermal regulation of secondary lithium ion cells in portable device applications. The LP6304BQVF provides excellent battery life and low profile solution due to its small QFN-24 package.
