The 24C01C-E/MS with EEPROM 128x8 manufactured by Microchip is a low-cost serial Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM). It is a 1K x 8 bit (128 byte) memory organized as 8 pages of 16 bytes each. The memory is accessible via a simple two-wire I2C serial interface and is available in SOT-23-5 package. It is capable of the standard I2C serial clock (SCL) and data (SDA) protocol operations, includes multiple slave address options and is capable of +2.5V to +5.5V supply voltage operation. In addition, it features write protect, enhanced ESD/latch-up protection, low power CMOS technology and a three-state output. It is well-suited for applications such as data storage, parameter storage, firmware updates, and external memory expansion.
