The 25C080-I/P is an 8-Kbit SPI serial EEPROM manufactured by Microchip. It has an 8-pin PDIP (plastic dual in-line package) with 1 megabit of reprogrammable, nonvolatile memory. Its built-in hardware data protection mechanisms allow the user to store and protect their valuable information. Its SPI bus interface allows for fast programming and data access times, up to 4 MHz. The 25C080-I/P is organized as 1024 pages of 8 bytes (64-bits) each, and features a range of write/erase cycles from 10K to 1 million.
