MIC4605 85V Half-Bridge MOSFET Driver with Adaptive Dead Time and Shoot-Through Protection Features General Description 5.5V to 16V Gate Drive Supply Voltage Range The MIC4605 is an 85V half-bridge MOSFET driver that features adaptive dead time and shoot-through Advanced Adaptive Dead Time protection. The adaptive dead-time circuitry actively Intelligent Shoot-Through Protection: monitors the half-bridge outputs to minimize the time - MIC4605-1: Dual TTL inputs between high-side and low-side MOSFET transitions, - MIC4605-2: Single PWM input thus maximizing power efficiency. Shoot-through Enable Input for On/Off Control protection circuitry prevents erroneous inputs and noise On-Chip Bootstrap Diode from turning both MOSFETS on at the same time. Fast 35 ns Propagation Times The MIC4605 also offers a wide 5.5V to 16V operating Drives 1000 pF Load with 20 ns Rise and supply range to maximize system efficiency.
