MP2386 24V, 8A, Low I , Q Synchronous Buck Converter DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2386 is a fully integrated, high- Wide 4.5V to 24V Operating Input Range frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, 105 A Low Quiescent Current switch-mode converter. The MP2386 offers a 8A Continuous Output Current super-compact solution that achieves 8A of Adaptive COT for Fast Transient continuous output current over a wide input DC Auto-Tune Loop supply range. Low R Internal Power MOSFETs DS(ON) Proprietary Switching Loss Reduction The MP2386 operates at high efficiency over a wide output current load range based on MPSs Technique proprietary switching loss reduction technique Power Good (PG) Indication and internal low R power MOSFETs. DS(ON) Fixed 700kHz Switching Frequency Stable with POSCAP and Ceramic Caps Adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control Internal Soft Start (SS) provides fast transient response and eases loop Output Discharge stabilization. The DC auto-tune loop combined OCP, OVP, UVP, and Thermal Shutdown with the remote differential sense provides good with Auto-Retry load and line regulation. Available in a QFN-11 (2mmx2mm) Full protection features include over-current Package protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and APPLICATIONS thermal shutdown.
