MPQ4559-AEC1 Industrial Grade, 1.5A, 2MHz, 55V Step-Down Converter AEC-Q100 Qualified DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPQ4559 is a high frequency step-down Guaranteed Industrial Temp Range Limits switching regulator with integrated internal high- Wide 3.8V to 55V Operating Input Range side high voltage power MOSFET. It provides 250m Internal Power MOSFET 1.5A output with current mode control for fast loop Up to 2MHz Programmable Switching response and easy compensation. Frequency 140A Quiescent Current The wide 3.8V to 55V input range accommodates Ceramic Capacitor Stable a variety of step-down applications, including Internal Soft-Start those in automotive input environment. A 12A shutdown mode supply current allows use in Up to 95% Efficiency battery-powered applications. Output Adjustable from 0.8V to 52V Available in QFN (3mm x 3mm) and High power conversion efficiency over a wide SOIC8E with Exposed Pad Packages load range is achieved by scaling down the AEC-Q100 Qualified switching frequency at light load condition to reduce the switching and gate driving losses. APPLICATIONS The frequency foldback helps prevent inductor High Voltage Power Conversion current runaway during startup and thermal Automotive Systems shutdown provides reliable, fault tolerant Industrial Power Systems operation.
