The FDC6303N is a dual linear Hall-effect device by ON Semiconductor, designed for speed and position sensing applications in automotive, consumer, and industrial markets. Its two, independent Hall elements allow the device to measure two directions (viz., X and Y) of the external component being measured. The FDC6303N produces a linear analog output proportional to the magnitude of the measured magnetic field.
This device is housed in a SOT-563 surface-mount package and is capable of operating over a wide voltage range of 3 V to 25 V. It has an accuracy of ±2% (typical) and a temperature range from -40 °C to 150 °C. In addition, the FDC6303N is resistant to shock and vibration, and has a failsafe feature.
