Additional Infomation About Product

The Pololu #4069 is an LV-MaxSonar-EZ1 ultrasonic distance sensor with a built-in 15° beam angle and detection range of 1-1000mm. It operates from a 3 to 5.5 volt DC supply and provides continuous range information with a resolution of 1mm over its full 30cm to 4m range, depending on the power supply voltage. The output is a single analog voltage that is proportional to the range of the obstacle detected in front of the sensor. An onboard noise rejection circuit and automatic calibration provide reliable readings with minimal user setup. The device also provides an onboard pulse-width output on the EZ1 output pin which lets the operator measure the range with precision down to 3mm. Its tight angular coverage makes it ideal for use in applications such as obstacle avoidance, autonomous navigation, and robotics.
