Additional Infomation About Product

The Pololu AltIMU-10 v5 is an inertial measurement unit (IMU) that combines an LSM6DS33 3-axis gyroscope, an LSM303D 3-axis accelerometer, an LIS3MDL 3-axis magnetometer, and a BMP280 barometric pressure sensor. It is a miniature, 10-pin IC package that communicates via I2C or SPI, making it ideal for adding sophisticated motion-sensing and altitude-measurement capabilities to a variety of embedded applications. Its digital gyroscope and accelerometer provide precise measurements of angular rate and acceleration, while the digital magnetometer can be used for magneto-inductive navigation and automatic heading compensation to achieve stable flight. The barometric pressure sensor can also be used for altitude measurement, allowing the system to autonomously measure and detect altitude changes. The AltIMU-10 v5 permits centimeter-level accuracy when used with the Pololu IMU Library.
