GRTE18-N2442 is a type of Sick Optic Electronic distance measuring (ODM) sensor. It is a compact, low cost, two-in-one device that measures and displays the actual distance between two objects with high accuracy. The device uses infrared light to determine and display the distance between two objects. It has very high resolution with up to 0.005 mm. It also has both analog and digital outputs and is ideal for applications in industrial process automation, robotic guidance, and more.
