Additional Infomation About Product

The SI8401AB-B-IS is a 1-channel digital isolator manufactured by Silicon Labs with a 2.5kV isolation rating. It utilizes an integrated Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) process for operation at data rates up to 10Mbps. It features a low stand-by power operation of < 25mW and quick turn-on time of < 25ns. The isolator is designed for use in applications including motor control, security, lighting, and building automation. It features a wide common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of -116dB at 10Mbps. The isolator also features a low on resistance of < 100O and a low flow-through capacitance of < 5pF. In addition, the device is AEC-Q100 qualified and is rated for an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The digital isolator operates from a single +5V supply, with an input voltage range of 5V to 18V, and is available in a 16-pin SOIC package.
