The MUR6060 is a 600V, 60A, ultra-fast recovery rectifier diode from STMicroelectronics. This diode is specifically designed for high frequency switching applications, where low losses are required. It utilizes a patented double-diffused diffusion process which provides a soft recovery characteristic and minimizes dV/dt generated ringing. The MUR6060 is rated at 600V and is available in a TO-247 package. It is suitable for line-commutated and resonant-commutated converters, as well as DC/DC converters.
