Additional Infomation About Product

The L298P with Driver, a motor controller manufactured by STMicroelectronics, is a 3A H-bridge with two channels and a SO20 topology. It provides full control of two bi-directional DC motors in a single chip solution, with options for full, half and pulse width modulation speed control. It has thermal overload protection and short circuit protection on the output to guarantee a safe operation. It also includes an enable pin which can be driven by a microcontroller pin to provide full control over each motor. The power supply voltage ranges from 6V to 45V and its max output current is 3A. It features four control ever inputs for controlling both motor direction and speed.
