The L7908CV-DG is a 3-pin Linear Voltage Regulator in a TO-220 TO-220-3 RoHS package manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to provide a fixed output voltage of -8 volts with an input voltage range of 7.0V to 20V. It features an overload current protection, output current protection, and short-circuit protection. It also features high accuracy and stable output voltage, low dropout voltage, low working current, and low power dissipation. It is suitable for applications like automotive, and telecommunications systems, as well as safety critical applications like medical electronics.
