The UC3843BM/TR with SOP-8 AC-DC Controllers & Regulators ROHS manufactured by HGSEMI is a low-cost current-mode controller that provides the necessary features for offline/DC-DC converter applications such as switched-mode power supplies, fluorescent lighting ballast, and DC motor controls. It offers a 50 kHz fixed frequency operation with ±20 % of duty cycle range to allow the use of alternative components for cost savings or improved performance. It also offers a wide range of operating voltages from 9V to 40V, low start-up current, typically 7 mA, and an integral over-voltage protection circuit. The UC3843BM/TR has an easy to implement packaged design with low cost, low standby power requirements and delivers testability and flexibility for system designs and cost optimization.
