Additional Infomation About Product

The GL34K is a powerful Chinese-made tank and one of the mainstay tank designs used by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). This main battle tank (MBT) is based on the Type 96A that was first introduced in 1999, but it has been significantly upgraded in order to match the latest Russian and Western MBTs. The GL34K features an 115 mm main gun that can fire a variety of standard and advanced shells, including APFSDS ammunition. Its secondary armament includes a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun and a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun. The tank also has a laser warning receiver and active protection system (APS) designed to protect it against incoming anti-tank missiles. The armor protection of the GL34K is classified, however, it is believed to be slightly superior to the Type 96A thanks to the improvements made to its composite armor suite. On top of this, the tank has been equipped with explosive reactive armor (ERA) blocks to give extra protection against HEAT weapons. The GL34K is powered by a 760 hp diesel engine and is able to travel at speeds of up to 50 km/h on good roads. It has a crew of three, consisting of the commander, gunner, and driver. In addition, the GL34K has a fourth crew member - an automated targeting system (ATS) operator, which significantly improves its accuracy.
